Breaking Bread

I love our fresh vegetables during the summer, whether they are in a salad, grilled on the BBQ or added to recipes. I also love using our frozen or canned veggies during the non-growing season. Heading into this holiday season, it is nice to be able to make warm loaves for when company comes, or a batch of fresh biscuits and soup to warm us up on a cold day.

Zucchini is such a versatile vegetable that can be delicious as a side or a key element of bakery items. Since I have a bunch frozen, and outside is about the same temperature as our freezer, spending the day inside and making loaves, biscuits and soup seemed like a good idea. Now we have a delicious dinner, dessert and a few loaves tucked into the freezer for a day where I don’t have time to bake.

Here are the delicious recipes that you can make with zucchini!
